Climb to the top of Worcestershire Beacon, Herefordshire Beacon or Summer Camp. Take a tour of the prestigious Morgan Motor Company or get off-road with a 4×4 land Rover Experience at Eastnor. Try rock climbing and bouldering at Redpoint, or swing your clubs at The Worcestershire Golf Club, Bransford or Ravenmeadow.
Shoot clay pigeons or ride go-karts at March Hare Leisure. Get pampered with body exfoliation and mud detoxifying at The Malvern Spa. Catch dance, music, plays, pantomime and more at The Malvern Theatres. Take a tour of the Lakehouse Brewery on site or brew your own in the microbrewery.
Visit Eastnor Castle for its magnificent Georgian drama, deer park, lake, fine art and arboretum. Admire Worcester Cathedral rising majestically above the River Severn and home to the Three Choirs Festival, the oldest choral festival in existence. Or stick around the river to watch the Severn Bore, a large-surge wave that can reach 50 feet.
Happy Hens & Stags
Hens (and stags) love a hot tub and The Lakehouse Retreat doesn’t disappoint. The six-seater here will keep you out in the three-acre grounds for longer, staring at the lake and taking in the views of the hills. When you’re done, grab a blanket and get around the firepit for gin and giggles.
By day, there’s plenty more out there to amuse. The lake weighs in at six acres, so there’s plenty room for fishing. Paddleboarding lessons and wild swim sessions can be arranged, or you can release your inner om with a little organised lakeside yoga. Tennis fan?
