Living spaces
The spaces at North Beach House come bursting with contemporary cool. Fixtures and fittings come in warmed-up neutral shades with discreet pops of royal blue and classy leather. Two living rooms provide a TV each for viewing clashes, but they’re warmed by the same dual-sided logburner.
Upload your shots of the place to Instagram over the superfast 500Mbit/s EE broadband and waste an evening in the games room listening to your sounds on the BOSE Bluetooth while throwing darts and potting pool balls. Cooking and dining
The kitchen and dining space need their own postcode. Cook on the range, two fan-assisted electric ovens and six-burner gas hob. Throw open the bi-fold doors onto the garden and take the sea air as you eat around the 16-seater table. Or fancy being fed? Call up our pro chefs and simmer in the hot tub as your meal gently marinates.
Get your food delivered from Tesco and Sainsbury’s down the road. Or go truly local and buy fresh lobster and crab directly from Bridlington harbour. Lazy night in? Order takeaways from Lezzet (kebabs and pizza), Canton Kitchen (Chinese) or Saffron for Indian. Get your fresh fish and chips from Ship to Shore.
Right on the cliffs, The North Star Hotel offers home-cooked food and drink with a la carte, breakfast and snack menus. Head to The Black Lion in Bridlington Old Town for great music, ale, breakfasts and burgers. Or see Flamborough Head then pop in for tea at The Seabirds for black and blue stacks or beer-battered haddock.
Go Italian at San Marco in Filey for pollo valdostana or scaloppini al Limone. For a spectacular venue best enjoyed with cocktails, choose The Glass House at Charlotte’s, serving seafood, grazing menus, burgers and pizzas. Or head out along country lanes to Michelin-recommended Pipe and Glass for ‘meticulously prepared’ menus.
Bedrooms
Sleep? The sea air drifting in through the sash windows should do the trick. That’s alongside eight beautiful en-suite bedrooms sleeping 16.
Great for those with mobility issues, bedroom one on the ground floor provides a kingsize bed with step-free access into a large shower cubicle, while bedroom two offers a superking bed that can split into singles. It gives access to bedroom three, sleeping two in a bunk.
Bedroom four gives you a superking that can be split, while bedrooms five, six, seven and eight are kingsize rooms with shower en-suites. Bedroom eight adds a bathtub.
